Cecelia Logan of Long Branch recently received a master’s of divinity degree at the spring commencement ceremony at the Theological School at Drew University, Madison.

Anthony Talerico Jr., son of Nancyann and Anthony Talerico, of Eatontown, recently received his bachelor of science degree in accounting at the spring commencement exercises at the University of Scranton, Pa. The winner of the "Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants Award," he was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. Talerico was a member of both Alpha Mu Gamma National Collegiate Foreign Language Honor Society and Alpha Sigma Nu, the national honor society for Jesuit colleges and universities. He also received a Beta Gamma Sigma scholarship award for 1999-2000. In addition he has been selected by the University of Scranton, Pa., for the 2001 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Selection is based on achievements in scholarly endeavors, as well as extracurricular activities.

The University of Delaware, Newark, announced the following local students who received bachelor of science degrees at the recent spring commencement ceremony:

Holly Michele Shooman of West Long Branch,; and Nicole Andrea Wedderburn of Long Branch.

Michelle Kantor of Oceanport was recently named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa.

Ivoree Schwartz of Long Branch recently received her associate of arts degree in business administration management at the spring commencement exercises at Berkeley College, West Paterson.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has announced the following Eatontown students who received degrees at the spring commencement exercises:

Jinghong Chen, a doctor of philosophy degree;

Carlo Pizzutelli, a bachelor of science degree in engineering; and

Yu Wang, a master of science degree.

The University of Scranton, Pa., announced the following local students who received degrees at the spring commencement exercises:

Martha Conceicao of Long Branch, a bachelor of science degree in finance;

Kara A. Kopach of Eatontown, a bachelor of arts degree in history; and

Anthony Talerico of Eatontown, a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Emory University, Atlanta, Ga., announced the following local students who received degrees at the spring commencement ceremony:

Marcus Collins of Monmouth Beach, a bachelor of arts degree; and

Wyatt Urmey of Oceanport, a master of business administration degree from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University. Peter Vincent Vincelli of Oceanport has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Gettysburg College, Pa.

Brian P. Rothe of West Long Branch was recently named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, where he completed his junior year majoring in psychology and education.

Peter V. Vincelli of Oceanport has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa.

The University of Scranton, Scranton, Pa., has named the following local students to the dean’s list for the spring semester:

Martha Conceicao of Long Branch, a senior majoring in finance; and Jennifer A. Jamieson, a senior majoring in physical therapy, and Meghan A. Kelly, a sophomore majoring in occupational therapy, both of West Long Branch.

Brian P. Rothe of West Long Branch was recently named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, where he completed his junior year. He is majoring in psychology and education.

Peter Vincent Vincelli of Oceanport has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Gettysburg College, Pa.

New Klebanoff of Long Branch has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Vermont College of Arts and Sciences, Burlington, where she is a sophomore.

Katherine A. McGee of Oceanport was recently named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pa. A member of the class of 2003, she is majoring in exercise and sport science.

Brian P. Rothe of West Long Branch has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia. The junior is pursuing a double major in psychology and education.
