The Planning Board will consider an application Monday for construction of five office buildings in Phase V of the Princeton South at Lawrenceville development, located on Princess Road.
First Industrial Development Services LP is seeking preliminary and final site plan approval for the proposed office buildings. The plan includes five buildings with a total 248,000 square feet of office space, plus parking for 1,173 cars.
The office buildings would be built in two phases. The first phase would consist of two office buildings, containing 94,500 square feet. The second phase would consist of the three remaining buildings.
The applicant also is seeking preliminary and final major subdivision approval for Phase VI of the development, which calls for subdividing a 53-acre lot on Kings Road into four lots. Also, plans call for extending Kings Road to Princess Road. Currently, there are no plans to develop the site.
Kings Road is located off Franklin Corner Road, near the Eagles Chase condominium development. It ends in a cul-de-sac. Princess Road is located off Princeton Pike, immediately south of the I-95 overpass. It also ends in a cul-de-sac. The proposal calls for linking the two roads.
In other business, the Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Brisben Bramblewood L.P.’s application for final site plan approval on its 117-unit senior citizens housing development on East Darrah Lane.
Last month, the Planning Board granted preliminary approval for the development. Bramblewood Senior Apartments will be located on an 8.4-acre lot. It is geared toward "active adults," who must be at least 55 years old.
Plans for the four-story building include 17 one-bedroom apartments and 100 two-bedroom apartments. All of the units are earmarked for low- and moderate-income households. Parking for 125 cars also would be allotted.
