Hopewell auction Nov. 3

Hopewell Elementary auction Saturday
Don’t miss the opportunity to take home a piece of genuine Americana from the Hopewell Elementary School Auction, Saturday, Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
A $5 entrance fee at the door gives attendees access to both the silent and live auction and refreshments.
In addition to the auction items, many hand-crafted items such as a Victorian Christmas tree with ornaments, découpage lamps and waste baskets, hand-made angels and dried flower arrangements, will be individually priced and sold at the Gift Emporium.
Hopewell children in grades K-five also hand-crafted items which will be featured in the silent auction. These matchless originals include mirrors, magazine racks, picture frames and the culminating masterpiece: a quilt, the joint effort of the entire fifth grade.
The event, which supports the Hopewell Elementary PTO, will raise money to finance many causes, including teacher grants, assemblies, student activities, community connections and special events.
In addition, a portion of this year’s auction proceeds will be used as PTO start-up funds for the new Stony Brook School, which is expected to open in Brandon Farms in September 2002.
The evening also will feature a raffle drawing for a $500 gift certificate to the Pennington Quality Market. Raffle tickets will be available prior to the drawing at the event.
