Salomea Mickno

MANVILLE — Salomea M. Mickno died Saturday, Oct. 6, at home. She was 86.
   She was born in Nanticoke, Pa., and was a resident of Manville since 1952.
   Mrs. Mickno was a homemaker.
   She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.
   Her husband, Leon Mickno, died in 1996.
   Survivors include one son, John of Hillsborough; two daughters, Mary Ann Buckowski of Ballston Spa, N.Y., and Jeanette Pavan of Hillsborough; two brothers, Stanley Bielawa of Nanticoke, Pa., and John Bielawa of Piscataway, one sister, Sophie Bodek of Manville; 11 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
   Funeral services are being held 8:15 a.m. today (Thursday), at Ketusky Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
