Millstone United Traveling Soccer is forming a new U8 Girls team to begin play this spring. To be eligible, the date of birth must be on or after Aug. 1, 1993. If interested, contact Gary Bonham at (732) 446-1032 as soon as possible.

The Pinelanders Youth Soccer Club, based in Howell, is sponsoring a NJYS Level F coaching license class on Feb. 15 and 16. Cost for the course is $30. Shootingstar Fastpitch Softball is offering a Pre-Season Softball Clinic in Monmouth County for girls in grades three through eight. The clinic will be held on four consecutive Sundays, March 17 and 24 and April 7 and 14 at GoodSports USA in Wall Township. Players will have the choice of two time slots, 10 a.m.-noon and noon-2 p.m. The clinic is specifically designed to prepare girls for the upcoming softball seasons and is for players of all positions. Defensive fundamentals of a player’s position will be taught, along with hitting, bunting and base running.
