Shootingstar Fastpitch Softball is offering a Pre-Season Softball Clinic in Monmouth County for girls in grades three through eight. The clinic will be held on four consecutive Sundays, March 17 and 24 and April 7 and 14 at GoodSports USA in Wall Township. Players will have the choice of two time slots, 10 a.m.-noon and noon-2 p.m. The clinic is specifically designed to prepare girls for the upcoming softball seasons and is for players of all positions. Defensive fundamentals of a player’s position will be taught, along with hitting, bunting and base running.
