Womack, not Little, tried to disrupt council proceedings

Anthony Tocci’s recent letter states "he hopes the township can rise above Maureen Little’s attempt to disrupt council proceedings." First of all, she was not given the courtesy of a phone call or the information promised her by Councilman Mack Womack with the names of committee appointees nor was she asked for names to put on committees, even though the appointments are council appointments, and she is a councilwoman.

When Councilwoman Little received the appointments, it was only a few hours before the meeting, and she saw names of people who had quit the committees months prior. Knowing the committees were not prepared properly, I am glad she voted no.

When Little pulled resolutions, it was because they were missing proposals. She read her packet. I want someone in the position of council person to be watching out for me, not voting along party lines even when they know information is missing.

I would like to remind Tocci it was Womack who tried to "disrupt the council proceedings" when he was sworn in. He was the only council member to vote against Peggy Scarillo as council president. He admitted he sought to stir up some animosity between Scarillo and Mayor David Spaulding (is that what being civil means?). It’s been quite a while since Tocci signed a letter to the editor. I look forward to the next negative one.
