Stephen Kasas

   MANVILLE — Stephen P. "Steve" Kasas, died Friday, April 5, in Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 74.
   He was born in Manville and was a lifelong resident.
   Mr. Kasas retired in 1989 after 42 years of employment as a warehouseman with GSA Depot in Belle Mead.
   He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
   He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Thomas J. Kavanaugh Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2290 in Manville.
   His three brothers, George, Al and Mike, and sister, Matilda, are all deceased.
   Surviving are his wife, Anne (Sudol) Kasas, one son, Steven of Lake Mary, Fla.; two daughters, Janet Kasas of Bedminster and Lari Kasas at home; and two grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held April 8 at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
