Ruth (Chahanoff) Share, 79, died at her home in Monroe.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Cedar Grove before moving to Monroe five years ago.
She was a bookkeeper at Puritz, Share, & Harris, Certified Public Accountants, in East Brunswick until retiring in 1998.
She was a member of Temple Shalom of West Essex and an active member of the Ponds, where she lived.
Her husband, William Share, is deceased.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane Fishman; her sisters, Mildred Ellowitz and Molly Stein; her sons, Sanford and Ira Share; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, May 19 at Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vaux Hall Road, in Union. Interment was at Menorah Cemetery in Clifton.
