Jewish Family Service
sets bereavement group
Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Southern Middlesex County, Concordia Shopping Center, Monroe, is forming a new eight-session bereavement group set to meet on Monday afternoons beginning April 7.

Individuals who have experienced the loss of a spouse or loved one are invited to join. A licensed social worker will lead the group.

Granny’s Cellar craft

show set in Spotswood

The 19th annual Granny’s Cellar Spring Craft Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 5 at Immaculate Conception Church, Manalapan Road, Spotswood.

The event will feature more than 125 crafters displaying and selling their wares and a country kitchen serving breakfast and lunch.

Admission is $2 for adults and free of charge to children. Baby strollers will not be permitted at the event.

Church sets pierogi,

blintz, chrusciki sale

St. Euphrosynia Greek Byelorussian Orthodox Church, 284 Whitehead Avenue, South River, is taking advance orders for a pierogi, blintz and chrusciki sale. Food pickup is scheduled for 3-8 p.m. on April 17 at the church.

Widows and Widowers

will hold April 6 social

The Widows and Widowers (WOWs) Chapter of Middlesex County West will hold a social from 7-11 p.m. on April 6 at the Belarussian American Center, Whitehead Avenue, South River. Socials are held on the first Sunday of every month, unless otherwise specified.

New members are welcome. Admission is $8 for members and nonmembers.

The nonprofit, nonsectarian organization is sponsored by the Family Life Bureau of the Diocese of Metuchen.

to hold April 8 luncheon

National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1533 will its annual spring luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on April 8 at the Buttonwood Manor, Route 34, Matawan.

Bagel Brunch set for

April 8 at S.R. temple

The Adult Education of Congregation Anshe Emeth, 88 Main St., South River, will sponsor a Bagel Brunch at 9:45 a.m. on April 8.

Rabbi Nathan Langer will lead a discussion titled "An American Jew — Dilemmas We Face in Secular Society."

Bagels and spreads will be served. Admission is free of charge to congregants and noncongregants.
