The East Brunswick School District has trimmed its budget for 2003-04 by reducing or eliminating funds for several programs. An article about those cuts that was featured in the March 20 edition of the Sentinel incorrectly indicated that the district’s adult and community education program and field trips were being eliminated. However, while the school district’s funding for those programs is being eliminated, they will continue on a parent-paid or self-sufficient basis. An editorial also listed an incorrect amount of money being cut from the district’s legal fees. The board actually expects to cut $55,720 in legal fees.
