The Greater Middlesex Conference Football Coaches Association will hold its 13th Annual Spring Football Demonstration Clinic on May 1 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at East Brunswick H.S. The Lady Shooting Starz Basketball Camp will take place July 7-10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sayreville War Memorial High School on Washington Road in Parlin. The camp is open to those girls entering the fourth grade through 12th grade in September, and will feature the Sayreville High School girls’ basketball coaching staff. The cost is $95 for four days of intense, but fun basketball. Costs include individual instruction and development, fundamental instruction and full-court games every day. A camp T-shirt will also be included in the cost of the camp. The camp will be a fun, enjoyable experience at one of the county’s upcoming girls’ basketball programs. The world famous mighty midgets will entertain the Rutgers College crowd and the local fans on Saturday night, May 3, 7:35 p.m. belltime, at the Cook-Douglass Campus Recreation Center, 50 Biel Road in New Brunswick. National Wrestling Superstars promoters have spared no expenses in obtaining mega ring talent for this special benefit card, all for the C.O.T.A. featuring WWF legend The Patriot plus WCW and NWA TNA PPV star The Wall (a.k.a. Malice) fresh off his tour of the Orient. Not only will all of the above be present, but to top off the evening, there will be a special 12-man "Any Way Out" Battle Royal with the winner to face "Triple B," Bad Biggie Biggs and a shot at his prestigious NWS regional heavyweight belt. The Old Bridge MadDogs U13 travel soccer team defeated their Neptune opponents on their home field on Sunday. Goals were scored by Ayo Adedeji, Michael Caracciolo and James Murphy. Goalkeeper was Justin Colaprico. Players on the field include Chase Boyadjian, Mike Coscia, Bobby Dailey, Amre Hamouda, TJ Iacoviello, Kyle Kraus, Mike Passaretti, BJ Piciocco, Marissa Ryan, Andrew Somma and Stefan Tessoun.

The following are the results of the Tamarack Women’s Nine-Hole Golf Association’s April 3 outing. The game played was kickers, no flights (choose own handicap to come as close to par as possible).
