Bible school, carnival
Howell Community Church, formerly Howell Baptist Church, will offer a vacation Bible school for children from 3 years old to those entering the seventh grade this fall.
"The Great Kingdom Caper" will be held Aug. 11-15, 9 a.m. to noon at the church, 1554 Maxim Southard Road, Howell. To register or for further details, call (732) 938-2564.
The church will also sponsor a Family Fun Carnival Aug. 16 beginning at 3 p.m. The event will feature games, food, water rides, a puppet show and other activities. There is no charge.
