Barbara Widmer Snyder

   Barbara "Bobbi" Widmer Snyder, 75, died at her home in Henryville, Pa., on Aug. 23,
   A former resident of Stroudsburg and Bryn Mawr, Pa., she lived in Titusville and Pennington for 36 years before returning to the Pocono Mountains after retirement.
   A 1946 graduate of Stroudsburg High School, she attended East Stroudsburg College. She worked for Bell Telephone and First National Bank in Stroudsburg.
   While in New Jersey, she worked at the Pennington Quality Market and the Hopewell Valley Regional School District, A member of the Titusville United Methodist Church, she most recently was a member of the Neola United Methodist Church in Neola, Pa,, where she was a member of the choir and a featured soloist.
   Daughter of the late Arthur "Shorty" Widmer and the late Kathryn V. (Starner) Widmer of Stroudsburg, Pa., she is survived by her husband of 55 years, William J. Snyder Sr. of Henryville, Pa; a son, William J. Snyder Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Richmond, Va.; daughters, Hollyann Fineberg of Holland, Pa., Robin Orton and husband, Marc of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jodi Grenier and husband, Joseph of Pennington; grandchildren, Rebecca Snyder Guest-Scott and husband, Anthony, Regan Snyder, Eric Anagnostis, Chelsea Fineberg, Emily and Andrew Orton, and Abigail Grenier; a brother, Robert Widmer of Hillcrest in Stroudsburg, Pa.; and "adopted" children, Joe and Corinda Guagno.
   A memorial service will be held Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, Pa. Nephew Scott Widmer of Honeybrook United Methodist Church and Pastor Joan Pacocha of the Neola United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Pa.
   Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. on Aug. 28 at the funeral home.
