Robert J. Tyson
   Robert J. Tyson, 72, of Titusville died Friday at Capital Health System, Mercer Campus.
   Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He was retired from GM where he worked in the Quality Control Department-Electric Seat Belts, Ewing.
   He was a member of the United Autoworkers Union and St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, Titusville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
   Son of the late Alfred and Marie Carmela Scharite Tyson, he is survived by his wife, Carmela G. Tyson; a son, Jon R. Tyson, a student at Paul Smith College, Saranac Lake, NY; a daughter, Micheline C. Tyson and significant other, Sean McCarthy, of New Milford, Pa.; and two granddaughters, Tabitha Drum and Kaitlyn Tyson.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, Route 29, Titusville. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.
   Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle.

Genevieve Finzel O’Connell
   Genevieve Finzel O’Connell, 90, of Pennington died Aug. 20 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, Pa.
   A native of western Maryland, which her father represented in the Maryland House of Delegates at the turn of the century, she graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy and Columbus University (now The Catholic University of America) in Washington, D.C.
   Prior to her retirement, she was a statistical analyst for the U.S. Department of Labor. She moved to Pennington in 1997 to be closer to her children and their families, and was a member of St. James Church of Pennington.
   She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Francis J. O’Connell of Pennington; a daughter Sarah Jane and husband Philip A. Militello of Pennington; a son Daniel Patrick and wife Charlotte S. O’Connell of Princeton; and five grandchildren, Michael, Daniel and Laura Militello and Mark and Kate O’Connell.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church in Silver Spring, Md. Interment was in the church cemetery.
