The windmill pitching clinic, for girls ages 10-18, will be held at Jackson High School. H.O.W. to FASTPITCH will provide two 10-week sessions, starting in October, on Wednesday evenings. Baseball instruction for the young player — Marc Kaplan and Pat Saverino will be offering personalized baseball instruction to boys and girls, ages 8 to 18, this spring and summer. Marc Kaplan is the former Asian Scout for the Atlanta Braves, just returning from eight years in Korea. Prior to joining the Braves, Marc was head coach at Gallaudet University, New England College and Hillside High School. The St. Gregory the Great 2003 Boys’ Fall Classic Basketball Tournament will be held Oct. 3-13 at St. Gregory the Great’s parish center, Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
