Registration is in progress for Computers for Beginners, offered by the Lakewood Community School. The class is specifically designed for adults who have no knowledge of computers. It will cover the basic terminology the first week. The second week will be a hands-on lesson with emphasis on maneuvering the mouse. Because of the popularity of this course, three sessions are being offered at Lakewood High School, 855 Somerset Ave., on Tuesdays. Candy making classes

Registration is in progress for a Lakewood Community School class on candy making. In this class, participants will learn how to make seasonal holiday treats with chocolate or dietetic chocolate including lollipops and filled and dipped chocolates. There is a nominal weekly charge for supplies. Classes will be held at Lakewood High School, 855 Somerset Ave., for five nights on Tuesdays commencing Sept. 30 from 7-9:30 p.m. Call (732) 905-3685 to register.

Registration is currently in progress for the fall semester of adult enrichment courses offered by the Lakewood Community School. A wide variety of courses are offered including, computers, arts and crafts, high school equivalency exam (GED) preparation, hobbies, music, dance, recreation, fitness, and safety.
