Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, has announced the winners of its 2003 Poppick Nursing Scholarship. The scholarship was named for Harry M. Poppick, M.D., a founding member of the hospital’s medical staff and a physician in Keyport for 35 years.
The recipients are registered nurses Kim Blind, Howell; Sheila Caldwell, Aberdeen; Marianna Ingrao-Franco, Hazlet; Shirley Shook and Laurie Surace, Brick; Heather Zeveney, Matawan; and Candy Malaspina, South Amboy, unit secretary.
The scholarship was established in 1994 to honor Bayshore staff enrolled in nursing programs.
