Frederick Domanich Sr.

   HILLSBOROUGH — Frederick J. "Fred" Domanich Sr. died Sunday, Jan. 25, in the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 80.
   Born in Rices Landing, Pa., he was raised and resided in Manville until settling in Hillsborough in 1954.
   Mr. Domanich retired as an electronics technician from the Picatinny Arsenal Dover where he was employed for many years.
   He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
   He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
   He was a member of both the Thomas J. Kavanaugh Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2290 in Manville and DAV Chapter 16 in Somerville.
   Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Galvacky) Domanich; two sons, Frederick J. Jr. of Brick and David of Hoboken; a daughter, Mary Lynn Avery of Whitehouse Station; one brother, Donald of Bound Brook; and five grandchildren.
   Funeral services will he held at 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a 9 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
   Relatives and friends are invited to call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, and at 8 a.m. until services on Friday, at the funeral home.
