The Hopewell Valley Foundation is accepting nominations for the fourth annual E2 Awards.
E2 stands for Education and Enterprise, and the award is designed to honor one individual recipient and one corporate recipient who have made a difference in the lives of the children in the Hopewell Valley school district.
The individual is chosen based on the time and talent he or she has given as a volunteer, and the corporation is chosen based on its contributions of financial, human, and other resources to school children.
Anyone in the Hopewell Valley community can submit nominations for the awards. Nominations must be received no later than Feb. 7 and should include the name and contact information for both the person recommended and the person making the recommendation.

The Hopewell Valley Foundation Awards Committee together with the Foundation Board of Directors will select the E2 award winners.
Last year’s E2 individual recipient was Sally Turner, in recognition of her leadership role and service to the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education. The corporate recipient was the Yardville Bank for their generous support of the district schools.
The Foundation soon will accept individual and group reservations for this year’s dinner, scheduled for May 7 at the Hopewell Valley Golf Club. Any group can reserve a table, including PTO committees, friends and neighbors, faculty groups, or parents of graduating seniors. Attendance has been growing annually so it is recommended that reservations be made early.
