MANVILLE Robert R. Carman died Friday, Feb. 13, at home. He was 70.
Born in Manville, he was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Carman worked for Johns-Manville for 15 years and for the Board of Social Services for an additional 15 years, where he retired in 1995.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
A brother, John Carman, is deceased.
Surviving are his wife, Joan (Kazeleski) Carman; three sons, Brian, Bobby and Leonard of Manville; a brother, Richard of Piscataway; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 from Bridgewater Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Committal services were private.
