Mrs. Zambrano, 91, of Long Branch died March 1 at home. Born in Chicago Heights, Ill., she moved to Long Branch in 1946. She was a secretary for 18 years at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, where she was also a communicant. A 1930 graduate of Bloom Township High School in Chicago, she also graduated from Burnham Beauty School, Chicago, and became manager of and an instructor at Blecker’s Beauty Shop in Illinois. She was past president of the Rosary Altar Society, through which she also held appointed and elected offices. She was vice president and secretary of the Holy Trinity Seniors; past president of the Broadway School PTA; and an active volunteer at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a member and secretary of the Long Branch Seniors and its advisory board, and for four years also wrote its "Senior Corner" column. She was a member of AARP No. 5918, and acted as communications chairman of the Woman’s Club of Long Branch. She was predeceased in 1974 by her husband, Anthony Zambrano; two sisters, Mary Foushi and Catherine Mounts; and two brothers, Nick and Charles Cuda. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph A. and Therese Russoinello Zambrano of Eatontown; a sister, Angelene Tocco of Phoenix; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a godchild, Nina Foushi of Phoenix. A funeral Mass was offered at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Margie I. Tomes Casey

Mrs. Casey, 82, of Long Branch died March 12 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, she was a lifetime resident. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Long Branch, where she belonged to the 49er’s Circle. She was predeceased in 1981 by her husband, Casimir A. Casey, and in February by a granddaughter, Tina Calabria Clark. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Joseph Walch of Oceanport, Carol and Frank Calabria of West Long Branch, and Margie and Stephen Lee of Long Branch; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Luke’s Church, followed by interment at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements. Clifford Whiteside

Mr. Whiteside, 70, of Tinton Falls died March 3 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Prior to moving to Tinton Falls, he lived in Sterling Heights, Mich., and Shrewsbury. Mr. Whiteside was an electrician for General Motors in Detroit, Mich., for 40 years. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Sal E. Tieri Jr., who died on Sept. 11, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Lilian (née Hamilton); a son and daughter-in-law, Clifford T. and Cheryl Whiteside of Sterling Heights, Mich.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Catherine E. and William Licht of Cortland, Ohio, Patricia E. and Craig of South Lake, Texas, and Maureen A. Tieri of Shrewsbury; four sisters; two brothers; and 11 grandchildren. A memorial gathering was held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Interment was private.
