Evhen "Gino" Stolarenko

Mr. Stolarenko, 72, of Freehold, died May 10 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills section of Pemberton. Born in the Ukraine, he had lived in Freehold for more than 40 years. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a forklift operator for Brockway Glass Co., Freehold Township, prior to retiring in 1978. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, as well as a former member of Freehold’s American Legion Post No. 54 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4373. Surviving are his wife, Alice Coleman Stolarenko; a son, William Fegan of Texas; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Bonnie and Albert Gaynor of Freehold, Roxane and Julian Diaz of Cream Ridge, and Deborah Fegan and Amy Arnista, both of Philadelphia; a brother, Walter Stolarenko of Levittown, N.Y.; a sister, Olina Begnaud of Louisiana; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; and four nephews. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by entombment at Forest Green Park Mausoleum, Marlboro. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Stanley A. Grzegorzek

Mr. Grzegorzek, 79, of Freehold Township died May 10 at home. Born in New Britain, Conn., he had lived in Madison for 20 years before moving to Manalapan and then to Freehold Township in 1987. Prior to retiring 20 years ago, he was the owner and operator of Cheker Stamping and Manufacturing Corp., Newark. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society, both in Madison. He was predeceased in 1982 by his wife, Anna Kovach Grzegorzek. Surviving are seven daughters, Patricia Luthy of Flanders, Kathleen Grzegorzek of Scottsdale, Ariz., Ann Marie Grzegorzek of Freehold, Carol Grzegorzek of Howell, Christine Tosh of Summerville, S.C., Susan Grzegorzek of Englishtown and Wendy Grzegorzek of Neptune City; a brother, Joseph Grzegorzek of New Britain; two sisters, Sally Smith of Newington, Conn., and Florence Kramer of New Britain; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, followed by interment at the parish cemetery, Marlboro. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Edward C. Suozzo

Mr. Suozzo, 76, of Long Branch died May 13 at his daughter’s home in Howell. Born in Long Branch, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Suozzo was a self-employed salesman. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a parishioner at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He was past president of the Long Branch Knights of Columbus Lodge No. 336; a member of IAMA, Long Branch; a member of the Long Branch Elks Lodge No. 742, and a coach for Tri-City Little League baseball. Mr. Suozzo was predeceased by his wife, Irene Walsh Suozzo, in 1997. Surviving are two sons, Joseph C. Suozzo of Lafayette and Nicholas J. Suozzo of Long Branch; two daughters, Kathleen Houlihan of Howell and Theresa Suozzo of Long Branch; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. Interment was at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.

Tillie A. Gulino

Mrs. Gulino, 83, of Oceanport died May 15 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Oceanport the past 14 years. She made plane safety equipment at Air Cruiser Company before retiring several years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Gulino in 1976. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Roy A. and Caroline Gulino of Lakewood, Vincent and Hong Gulino of Jackson, and Anthony and Peggy Gulino of Barnegat; two daughters, Donna Manley of Beachwood, and Cecelia Lane of Louisiana; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.

Tadeusz Madej

Mr. Madej, 90, of Aberdeen died May 20 at home. Born in Poland, he was a lifelong resident of Aberdeen. He was employed at Atlantic Tile, Keyport. Prior to that, he was employed at Mosaic Tile, Matawan; Lorvorisa, Marlboro; and Helm Tobacco Co., Helmetta, for 19 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Mr. Madej is survived by his wife, Zofia G. Madej; three daughters, Halina Klimchuk of Freehold, Sophia Marshall of Hazlet, and Theresa Knoeppel of Aberdeen; two sons, Stanley Madej of Waymart, Pa., and Edward Madej of Jackson; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Church, followed by interment at the parish cemetery, Keyport. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
