William J. Baillie Jr.

Mr. Baillie, 74, of Freehold, died May 4 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, after a long battle with heart disease. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was a lifelong resident of Freehold. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he had worked in various sales positions. His fondest employment was with Ralph Clayton and Sons, a concrete company in Lakewood. Mr. Baillie was a former member of the Freehold Borough Council and the Freehold Planning Board; past president of the Freehold Fire Department; a member for 36 years of the Monmouth Hose Company, for which he was also a former captain and past president; and a member of the Marine Corps League’s Cpl. Philip A. Reynolds Detachment No. 203, Freehold. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary C. and Walter J. Baillie; his first wife, Gail E. Burke; and a son, Walter Scott Baillie. Surviving are his wife, Judith A. Baillie; three daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen and Michael Rossi of Millstone, Dawn Garrett of Wall and Cheri Plamondon of Farmingdale; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Robert Rathschmidt of Cream Ridge; four grandchildren; and a niece and nephew, as well as their spouses. A funeral service was held at Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Jack Ripillino

Mr. Ripillino, 81, of Freehold Township, died June 9 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in New York, he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Freehold seven years ago. He was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, where he was also an usher. A World War II Navy veteran, he had worked as a printer for Reliable Press, New York City, prior to retiring. Surviving are his wife, Helen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Eddie Sanchez, and Joan and Jeffrey Freifeld, all of Freehold; a brother, Angelo Ripillino of Brooklyn; a sister, Mary Bracco of Carlstadt; and three grandsons and a granddaughter. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.George Rodgers Plesher

Mr. Plesher, 63, of Manalapan, died June 7 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, he had lived there for most of his life before moving to Manalapan in 1971. After 39 years of service, he retired in 1998 from the DuPont Corp., Parlin, as an engineering foreman. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Marjorie; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberley and Richard Turner of Toms River, Jessica and George Gent of Perrineville, and Rebecca Plesher of Graham, N.C.; his mother, Helen Plesher of Parlin; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mitzi Ferlita of Parlin, and Beverly and James Gerak of Sayreville; and one grand­child. The litany service was held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home and officiated by members of the St. Peter’s parish organization. The Requiem Eucharist was celebrated at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. Burial took place at the church cemetery.

Robert J. Lynch III

Mr. Lynch, 54, of Jackson, died June 6 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Neptune Township, he was a lifetime resident of Howell and a 1969 graduate of Howell High School. He was an extruder operator at Tubed Products, Inc., Freehold Township. He was also an avid fisherman who loved to cruise on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was pre­deceased in 1978 by his father, Robert J. Lynch Jr. Surviving are his mother, Catherine Lynch of Jackson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert J. IV and Jennifer Lynch of How­ell, and Karl and Christine Lynch of Brick; a brother, James Lynch of Jackson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Noreen and James McBride of Jackson, and Estelle and Fred Carpenter of Cream Ridge; four grandchildren; an aunt, Rose Suttors of Forked River; many nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and cousins Raymond and Lisa Scott of Powells Point, N.C., and Mark and Jackie Scott of Brick. A funeral service was held at Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. Interment will take place June 14 at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Free­hold Township.
