The New Jersey State Bar Foundation has announced William G. Brigiani, South Brunswick, has been reappointed as a trustee. A partner with the East Brunswick law firm of Brigiani, Cohen & Schneider, is the ex-president of the Middlesex County Bar Association and Foundation, as well as host of Middlesex County’s "Law on the Line" series.

Brigiani is also active with the bar foundation’s mock trial programs, and is a member of its program development committee and court-night subcommittee. His awards include the Lawyer of the Year Award and David Pavlovski Service Award from the Middlesex County Bar Association, New Jersey Police Benevolent Association Silver Life Membership Award, and Police Honor Legion Citizen of the Month.

Brigiani is a graduate of Dartmouth (N.H.) College, and received his law degree at Rutgers Law School, Newark. He also served with the U.S. Navy Reserve for 10 years, attaining the rank of lieutenant commander.

The international networking organization BNI will hold a visitors day for its Raiders Chapter July 8 at Omega Diner, Route 1 south, North Brunswick. The organization was founded in 1985 by Ivan R. Misner and specializes in business referrals among members. The Raiders Chapter is headed by Jeff Schnier, president. The meeting is open to the public. The online company December’s Rose, LLC is now accepting photographs for its bi-monthly competition. The greeting card and calendar company was formed in 2003 by North Brunswick resident Barbara Lesselbaum, who teamed with photographer Jamie Cost, also North Brunswick. North Brunswick resident Ionie D. Gordon was recently promoted to re­gional sales director at AmeriPlan Corpo­ration. AmeriPlan USA is a provider of discounted health benefits that was founded in 1992, and based in Plano, Texas.

South Brunswick Township Pub­lic Schools recently received $100,000 under the 2004 Lucent Technologies New Jersey Collaborative Learning Communi­ties Award. Funding will be used to cre­ate peer-coaching groups comprised of teachers, principals, school administra­tors and support staff, which will meet with trained coaches with professional development experience. Teaches will evaluate how the individual teachers, discuss possible improvements and visit peers’ classrooms.
