Mrs. Smith, 72, of Howell died July 5 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived there and in Tinton Falls before moving to Howell in 1997. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale. For 25 years, she and her husband had owned and operated Park Avenue Printers, Ocean Township, until they retired in 2000. A homemaker as well, Mrs. Smith was also an aerobics swimming instructor at American Woman, Freehold Township. She was predeceased in 2002 by her husband, James R. Smith. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, David L. and Ramona Smith, Paul S. and Chantal Smith, and James J. and Allison Smith, all of Jackson; a brother, Nicholas Adamo of Toms River; a sister, Mary Ann Buccellato of Hillside; and four grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, Farmingdale, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements.

Theresa "Terri" S. Malko

Mrs. Malko, 75, of Farmingdale died July 13 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Colts Neck before moving to Farmingdale in 1961. She was a sales associate for Sam’s Club, Freehold Township. From 1953-78, she and her husband had owned and operated ABC Kennels, Farmingdale. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, as well as a former den mother for Cub Scout Pack 150, both of Farmingdale. Mrs. Malko was predeceased in 1993 by her husband, Budd F. Malko. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Budd Jr. and Wanda Malko, Craig Malko, and Eric and Kathy Malko, all of Farmingdale; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jill and Alex McNerlin of Howell, Dona and Pat Harrigan of Bradley Beach, and Dina Malko of Howell and her fiancé, Joey Layton; her mother, Angela Palermo of Jackson; a brother, Frank Palermo of Cherry Hill; four sisters, Maria Magnaessone, Rosie Valencia and Frances Purkey, all of California, and Annie Prest of Oregon; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Catherine of Siena Church, with the Rev. Michael Vona officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale. C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude, 205 W. Monroe St., P.O. Joan M. Moriarity O’Neill

Mrs. O’Neill, 75, of Hazlet died July 6 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Hazlet the past 48 years. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, James Gerard O’Neill in 1996. She is survived by eight children, JoAnne Ludwig of Hazlet, Mary Netherby of Marmora, James O’Neill Jr. of Lighthouse Point, Fla., Kevin O’Neill of Colts Neck, David O’Neill of Holmdel, Denise Corley of Freehold, Stacey VanFechtmann of East Greenwich, R.I., and Connie Kormeseth of Heggedal, Norway; two sisters, Patricia Adamcik of Rutherford, and Mary Wagnes of Bradley Beach; two brothers, James Moriarity of Lakewood, and Leonard Moriarity of Greenbelt, Md.; and 24 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

Levi W. Wilson

Mr. Wilson, 54, of Lakewood died July 12 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Michigan, he had lived there before moving to Lakewood more than 20 years ago. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he was a bus driver for the Academy Bus Co., Toms River, for 14 years. Surviving are his wife of four years, Elizabeth (née Perez) Wilson; two sons, Levi Wilson of Colorado and Greg Wilson of Brick; his parents, Maxine and Pedro Rolon of Brick; a stepdaughter, Erica Perez of Lakewood; five brothers; and two granddaughters. A funeral service was held at D’Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood, followed by burial at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

Mae Estelle Hicks

Mrs. Hicks, 68, of Howell died July 11 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Linden, she had lived in Millstone before moving to Howell eight years ago. Prior to retiring six years ago, she was a customer service representative for Sam’s Club, Freehold Township, for three years. She had previously worked for 30 years at Brockway Glass Co., Freehold, as a supervisor. Surviving are a son, Stephen Robert Hicks of Howell; a sister, Agnes Geades of Danville, Ill.; and two nephews, Andrew Scott Korzenok of Howell, and Michael Andrew Korzenok of Granville, Ohio. Graveside services were held at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan, with. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, in charge of arrangements.
