The second annual Team Time Trial Challenge bicycle race will be held Aug. 8 at Camp Frogbridge, Millstone, to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Promoted by local cycling clubs, the challenge features competitive teams from New Jersey and surrounding states. The course is a 25-mile, well-marshaled, flat loop through scenic Millstone and Upper Freehold Township. Last year, 40 teams entered the event, with the day highlighted by the men’s and women’s New Jersey Championship events. The N.J. Championships have been expanded and are part of the New Jersey Bicycle Association (NJBA) race series. Corporate and tandem categories are also included in the event. All proceeds from the race will go directly to the JDRF.
Individuals as well as corporate teams are welcome to participate in this fund-raising event.
