"Sciensational Science Camp: Fossil Hunt and Rocks and Minerals," for ages 6-10, will be held July 26-30 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $119. Campers will dig in the dirt using brushes, magnifying glasses, labels, and specimen holders to create their own fossil dig and use the geological time and fossil chart to identify million-year-old shark teeth, mammal bones and more. Then campers will work with the mineral collection to categorize and identify different rocks and minerals, and see a giant pumice stone specimen from Mount St. Helens.

"Sciensational Science Camp: Speedboat, Car, Revolving Robot," for ages 7-12, will be offered July 26-30 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. The fee is $125. Campers will build a car, revolving robot, and a speedboat with 48 different interlocking parts, building 22 different land and water projects. Then campers will experiment with hands-on science concepts as they test, race, and observe their creations. Campers will be able to take their projects home at the end of camp.

A modeling workshop for ages 10-14 will be held July 26 and 27 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The fee is $49. The Barbizon School of Modeling, Red Bank, is offering this two-day mini-camp, which will include audio and visual taping, lessons on skin care, hair, dress and makeup, and tips on how to break into the field.
