The adult and children’s choir divisions of the Community Christian Choirs, comprised of singers from throughout central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, were recently featured artists at the Ocean City Tabernacle in Ocean City. The special weekend of musical celebrations began with a Larnell Harris concert in which members of the CCC adult choir were selected to sing back-up vocals for Harris on several of his well-known gospel arrangements. Harris is an award-winning gospel singer whose career has spanned several decades.

At the Tabernacle’s Sunday morning services, the children of the CCC sang several of their favorite songs, including "Child’s Credo," for the packed auditorium of more than 2,000 people.

The choirs concluded their weekend with a complete concert at the Tabernacle featuring music from their "River of Praise" and soon-to-be-released "Utmost" compact discs.

The Community Christian Choirs rehearse at the Allentown Presbyterian Church on Route 539 in Allentown. The choirs are currently accepting adult and children singers for the fall season, which will culminate with a local Christmas concert tour to raise money for area charities.
