A fund-raiser to benefit the American Red Cross ball will be held Dec. 21 at 8 p.m., and feature a special benefit performance of “Night at the Nutcracker,” the musical by former Monmouth County natives Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore.
The event will be at the performing arts center at Brookdale Community College, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown. Tickets are $20 and $15 for seniors, students with a valid ID and children. All proceeds benefit disaster victims in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
The Red Cross ball will be March 19 at the reception center at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel. It will honor community honorees Van Zandt and Milmore, and corporate honoree Diane Turton of Diane Turton Realtors, for humanitarian work in the community.
