Edison library to offer more children’s programs

The children’s department of the Edison Public Library will be holding registration in person or by phone beginning Dec. 6 for children ages 2-5 with parent/caregiver for a snowy adventure where youngsters will get to create their own snowmen, listen to “cold” stories and watch a winter film. Registration is limited and open to Edison residents only. Programs are as follows: North Edison Branch, Dec. 15, 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Clara Barton Branch, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.

Beginning Dec. 8, the department will also be holding registration for children age 5 to third grade for “Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?” at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Edison Main Library. Based on the book by Bonnie Lass and Philemon Sturges, the program actively involves participants by asking them to help Skunk solve the cookie jar mystery.
