Next Step Productions, of Brick, will host an “Engagement Celebration Bridal Fair” Jan. 28 at the Vanity Fare Banquet Facility in Lakewood. The event will be held from 7-11 p.m. The concept is a preregistered event designed to entertain and inform engaged couples, only those who are planning their upcoming weddings. Invited couples will attend an actual semi-formal reception with complete dinner, cash bar and entertainment. Traditional bridal services, such as DJ, videographer, photographer, floral arrangements, etc., will be provided by a select group of vendors. Stephan R. Leone, a founding partner of the Toms River law firm Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle and Sacks, was appointed by former Gov. James McGreevey to the Ocean County College Board of Trustees for a four-year term. He replaces Joseph A. Citta, who retired from the board. Leone was sworn in recently by Jack Shahradnik, counselor to the board.

Leone has been active in the community for more than 40 years. He will continue to serve as a trustee of the Ocean County College Foundation, the association that raises funds for college scholarships and activities, a post he has held since 1971. Leone is also a trustee of the New Jersey Nature Conservancy, a director of the Toms River Business Improvement District, and a member of the New Jersey State General Aviation Review Commission.

Sam’s Club, Freehold Township, will hold an “Office Merchandise Showcase” event for small business professionals Jan. 27 from 7-10 a.m. at its facility, 100 Trotters Way. The event will feature a selection of office and break-room supplies showcased in two display settings, and local business owners will receive a complimentary breakfast.
