Stadium to host Dylan in concert

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood BlueClaws and Jam Productions have teamed up again to present Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson live in concert at FirstEnergy Park, on June 15 at 6:30 p.m., part of the “Let’s Play Two” summer tour.

This is the second concert scheduled for FirstEnergy Park this summer, with Bryan Adams and Def Leppard coming to town July 5.

“We’re ecstatic to have scheduled another concert here at FirstEnergy Park,” BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown said. “There is no better way to kick off the summer concert series at FirstEnergy Park then with two great performers like Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.”

Bob Dylan has won multiple Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and performed in more than 500 concerts. Recent performances with his new band have garnered rave reviews and played to capacity crowds.

Willie Nelson’s career has spanned five decades, and in that time he has become one of the most prolific recording and touring artists in any genre of music. His popularity, as both a commercial success and a critic’s favorite, has garnered him shelves of awards, including recognition by the Country Music Association, the American Music Awards, and numerous Grammy Awards.
