Kari R. Barkley of Roosevelt, a member of the class of 2006 at Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest undergraduate honors organization in the United States. Phi Beta Kappa fosters and recognizes excellence in the liberal arts and sciences.
Ashley Shaffer of Millstone was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She is a member of the class of 2008 and is majoring in communication.
Sharlene Weaver of the Clarksburg section of Millstone graduated in the fall from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in general university studies.
