For the second consecutive year, New Jersey City University senior anchor Jennifer Viens, of Old Bridge, has been named First-Team All-Eastern Collegiate Bowling Conference (EIBC) by the league’s head coaches. The awards are based solely on the league’s three regular season meets.

Viens, a First-Team All-EIBC pick in 2004, after garnering Second-Team honors as a sophomore in 2003, finished third in the voting on the six-woman First-Team, after compiling a 15-5-1 win-loss record during the league’s three meets. She averaged a 201.62 with a 21-game pinfall of 4,234. Overall, she tallied a 200 or better in 13 of her 21 league games and posted five games of at least 225. Her EIBC season high was 238. With one point credited for a win and 0.5 for a tie, her 15.5 total points was second among all female competitors, behind only FDU’s Elysia Current.
