Acorn Glen talks to focus on elder care

   Acorn Glen Assisted Living of Princeton is offering a four-part lecture series on caring for elderly parents or an older adult. Topics to be discussed are "The Aging Process: Your Guide to the Golden Years," "Caregiver Stress: Taking Time for You," "Maintaining a Positive Attitude," and "Physical and Emotional Losses".
   The lecture series was developed and will be hosted by Ms. Jennifer Young, a licensed clinical social worker with a specialty in gerontology.
   The first lecture, "The Aging Process: Your Guide to the Golden Years" will be given on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For those who cannot attend the first lecture, it will be repeated on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
   Registration and light refreshments will begin at 6:30 p.m. The lectures will be given in the activity room at Acorn Glen Assisted Living, located at 775 Mt. Lucas Road, Princeton, NJ.
   The lectures are open to any adult who is presently caring for aged parents or caring for an older adult who may require assisted living. Seating is limited to 30 people. Registration is required.
