Princeton HealthCare System’s Web site, www.princetonhcs.org, has been honored with a gold award for Best Healthcare Web Site Design in the 2005 eHealthcare Leadership Awards competition, PHCS announced.
The national award recognizes excellence in Web-site design, including strong use of visuals, ease of navigation, the comprehensiveness of information, and inclusion of features that enhance service to patients, as well as operational efficiency.
"We’re delighted to receive this recognition and pleased to know that princetonhcs.org is a model Web site for health-care organizations across the country," Carol Norris, PHCS vice president of marketing and public affairs, said in a news release issued by PHCS.
"Princeton HealthCare System is committed to serving our community by providing information and exceptional service through our online initiatives," Ms. Norris said.
The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program was developed by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, an Internet resource published by Rye, N.Y.-based Health Care Communications.
Award-winning sites were selected from more than 1,200 entries, PHCS said.
