Leroy G. Burke Sr.

Mr. Burke, 79, of East Brunswick, died March 28 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Hermann Forwarding Co., South Brunswick. He was a former member of the East Brunswick Special Police. A daughter, Grace Joan Burke Sales, died in 1995. Surviving are his wife, Peggy Camburn Burke; two sons, Leroy Burke Jr. of Milltown and James Burke of Jamesburg; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, North Brunswick.

Charles W. Sutter Jr.

Mr. Sutter, 56, of South River, died April 1 at home. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles W. Sutter Sr. and Charlotte Balajthy Sutter. Surviving are a sister, Diane Sutter Cowin of Ashland, Ore.; a niece and godchild, Amanda Charlotte Cowin, also of Ashland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

Doreen L. Karwatt DeCaro

Mrs. DeCaro, 53, of Sayreville, formerly of South River, died April 5 at home. She was employed by Allcare Medical, Sayreville. Surviving are her husband, Thomas R.; a son, Scott, and a daughter, Tara, both at home; a cousin, Walterene Ratcliff of Florida; and her cousin’s children, Daniel Ratcliff of Florida and Kimberly Cox of Alabama. Services were held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, East Brunswick. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.

Dorothy H. Besley

Mrs. Besley, 88, of New Brunswick, formerly of Jamesburg and North Brunswick, died April 4 in Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, Piscataway. She was a secretary in the bursar’s office at Rutgers University College of Agriculture, New Brunswick, for 12 years, retiring in 1972. Her husband, Harry E. Besley, died in 1998. Surviving are two sons, Peter R. Krauszer of Chiangmi, Thailand, and Paul Krauszer of Wasilla, Alaska; a daughter, Phyllis Lynch of Fruitland, Md.; a stepson, Richard Besley of Asheville, N.C.; and three granddaughters. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Sharon E. Kozla Eichert

Mrs. Eichert, 54, of North Brunswick, formerly of South River and East Brunswick, died April 9 at home. She was a sheriff’s officer with the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department from 1985-98. Surviving are her husband, Ronald J. Eichert; a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie T. and James Garland of Orlando, Fla.; and a brother, Allen Kozla of the Somerset section of Franklin. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Walter Hoeckh

Mr. Hoeckh, 73, of Spotswood, died April 8 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was employed for 20 years as a forklift operator with Kimberly-Clark Corp., P.J. Schweitzer Division, Spotswood. His wife, Emilie Paisker Hoeckh, died in 1996. Surviving are a daughter, Lydia Kraska of Spotswood; two sons, Bernhard of Spotswood and Wilhelm of Ellerslie, Ga.; a brother, Erwin of Germany; and a granddaughter. Services were held at First Baptist Church of Jamesburg. Interment was in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Barbara E. Robert W. Johnson

Mr. Johnson, 78, of East Brunswick, died April 4 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Phelan Johnson; three sons, James of East Brunswick, Robert W. of the Hamilton Square section of Hamilton and Raymond of Spotswood; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Donald McClelland

Mr. McClelland, 66, of Spotswood, died April 4 at home. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Fischer McClelland; two sons, Gregg, at home, and Donal, of Georgia; two daughters, Wendy Roche of Milltown and Karen Redburn of Florida; a brother, James McClelland of Staten Island, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick. Mary Facak Stefanik

Mrs. Stefanik, 85, of Matawan, formerly of Jamesburg, died April 3 at home. Her husband, John, died in 1997. Surviving are a son, Richard Stefanik of Fairfax, Va.; three daughters, Dorothy Stefanik Appleton of New York City, Irene Bunin of Sandwich, Mass., and Jean Stefanik Miller of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Michael Troicki

Mr. Troicki, 72, of East Brunswick, died April 2 at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the production department at Johnson and Johnson, Milltown, where he worked for 25 years. He later worked for 10 years at Kimberly-Clark, Spotswood. Surviving are his wife, Mary Stresz Troicki; two daughters, Nina Lawson of East Brunswick and Natalie McGough of South River; a sister, Nadia Rinnyk of Milltown; and four grandchildren. A service was held at St. Euphrosynia Belarusian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Joseph J. Kloc

Mr. Kloc, 87, of Old Bridge, died April 8 at home. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Anaya Kloc; two sons, Thomas of East Brunswick and Joseph of Monroe; a daughter, Jeanne Abrams of Old Bridge; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Committal was private. Harold Stroud Miller

Mr. Miller, 57, of Edison, died April 1 at home. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold Stroud Miller and Adeline Bishop Miller. Surviving are five sisters, Cathy Small of East Brunswick, Nancy McFadden of Old Bridge, Janet Boutillier of Phillipsburg, Carolyn Blaylock of Virginia and Grace Kropiewnick of Delaware; a brother, David Miller of Califon; eight nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.

Stanley B. Wojcik

Mr. Wojcik, 72, of Sayreville, died March 31 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he was employed as a heavy-machine installer with E.I. DuPont, Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for more than 30 years. A daughter, Sharon B. Pelley, died in 2005. Surviving are a daughter, Karen Wojcik Ennis of Winterville, N.C.; a son, Stanley “Butch” Wojcik of Greenville, N.C.; a son-in-law, Joseph J. Pelley IV of Bedminster; a sister, Antoinette Wojtaszek, and two brothers, John and Walter Wojcik, all of Sayreville; and five grandchildren. A service was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Cremation was private.
