Joseph P. Sapia

Mr. Sapia, 92, of Monroe, formerly of Helmetta, died April 18 in Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. Prior to his retirement in 1974, he was employed for approximately 17 years as a school maintenance man with the Jamesburg Board of Education. His wife, Sophie Onda Sapia, died in 1995. Surviving are a son, Joseph P. Jr. of Monroe; a sister, Annie Sapia Bonina of Stamford, Conn.; a brother, Dominick Sapia of Greenwich, Conn.; four sisters-in-law, Josephine Onda Edvy of South River, Bea Sapia of Stamford, Katie Sapia of Norwalk, Conn., and Bertha Onda of New Carrollton, Md.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral liturgy was offered at Holy Trinity Church, Helmetta. Interment was in St. James Cemetery, Jamesburg. Karen Dioses

Karen, 11, died April 20 at home. She was a fifth-grade student at Our Lady of Victories School, Sayreville. Surviving are her parents, Rose and Walter Dioses; a brother, Walter Dioses Jr., at home; her grandfather, Rene Dioses of Texas; and many other family members. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Cremation was private. Frank Coraggio

Mr. Coraggio, 88, of Old Bridge, died April 13 at home. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, in 1994. Surviving are three sons, Peter of Hawaii, Francis of Florida and Paul of South River; a daughter, Lysette of Old Bridge; three brothers, Amedeo of Long Island, N.Y., Anthony of Colorado and Ben of Florida; three sisters, Margaret Quatse of Lavallette, Vera Gavarny of the Forked River section of Lacey and Violet Siegello of the Toms River section of Dover; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Robert W. Johnson

Mr. Johnson, 78, of East Brunswick, died April 4 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Phelan Johnson; three sons, James of East Brunswick, Robert of the Hamilton Square section of Hamilton and Raymond of Spotswood; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Rose Muscolino Keller

Mrs. Keller, 89, of East Brunswick, died April 20 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1982, she was employed as an assembly-line inspector with Wonder Bread Co., East Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Adolph Keller; a daughter, Helen O’Brien of East Brunswick; a son, Louis D. Keller of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Mildred Keri of the Somerset section of Franklin; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Cremation was private.

Fanny S. Linzey

Mrs. Linzey, 76, of Spotswood, died April 3 at home. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she was a clerk at Spotswood Pharmacy, where she worked for 15 years. She also was a longtime election poll worker in Spotswood. Surviving are her husband, Ronald F.; a daughter, Karen Shearn of Spotswood; a son, Ronald F. Linzey Jr. of South River; a sister, Olga Cuzzo of Spotswood; and three grandsons. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. William Alan Medvetz

Mr. Medvetz, 49, of Lake Mary, Fla., formerly of South River, died April 16 at home. His father, William, died in 1972. Surviving are his mother, Maryann Medvetz of South River; a brother, Robert Medvetz of Daytona Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Barbara Ann Medvetz of Daytona Beach and Janis Manney of East Brunswick; and a nephew and a niece. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Geoffrey Ernest Yarnall

Mr. Yarnall, 62, of Monroe, formerly of Jamesburg, died April 3 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. His father, James, died in 1976. Surviving are three sons, Victor of Bedminster, Craig of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, Keith of Milltown; his mother, Rose Trowbridge Yarnall of the Somerset section of Franklin; a brother, Richard of Piscataway; a sister, Catherine Parse of Delta, Colo.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A service was held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private. Emma Weisgold

Mrs. Weisgold, 90, formerly of Freehold, died April 18 in Sunrise Senior Living, East Brunswick. Her husband, Irving, died in 1985. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Ronnie and Edward Mendlowitz of East Brunswick and Lois Weisgold and Bert Schwartz of Freehold; and two grandsons. Services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Interment was in Hebrew Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold.

Benny W. Wolyniec

Mr. Wolyniec, 92, of South River, died April 10 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1976, he was the owner of Veterans Texaco Gas Station, South River. Surviving are his wife, Mary Brzowski Wolyniec; a daughter, Dolores Lang of Englishtown; a son, Robert Wolynec, a member of the Vermont Air National Guard and stationed in Iraq, of Fairfax, Vt.; a sister, Helen Kulik of South River; and a grandson. A liturgy was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Russell Zeller

Mr. Zeller, 48, of New York City, died April 2 at home. He was predeceased by his mother, Lourdes Ann Zeller, and by his father, Leo David Zeller. Surviving are a daughter, April; five brothers, Richard Zeller of South River, Joseph Zeller of Florida, Larry Zeller and David Zeller, both of Illinois, and Paul Abelquist of California; four sisters, Diane Olsen and Linda Arquette, both of Illinois, and Anita Watts and Joyce Fix, both of Georgia; and a grandson. Services were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

Virginia Cauiola Suriano

Mrs. Suriano, of Monroe, died April 2 in University Medical Center at Princeton. Her husband, Alfred, died in 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Cora Berke of Monroe; a sister, Joyce Taylor of East Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was private.
