Gordon C. Tindall Jr.
Former Dutch Neck farmer
   
WEST WINDSOR — Gordon "Mike" Conover Tindall Jr. died Aug. 22 in Teaneck. He was 81.
   A Dutch Neck farmer until 1965, he was employed by RCA Corp. until 1989.
   Mr. Tindall was a member of the West Windsor Lions Club and West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company for many years. He was an avid golfer and participated in many community projects and affairs.
   He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Patricia Tryon Tindall; daughter Claudia Tindall of Teaneck; sons Gordon C. Tindall III of Towanda, Pa., and Timothy W. Tindall of Jersey City; and grandchildren Courtney Tindall and Ian Tindall of Decorah, Iowa, and Christopher and Myla Mooney of Teaneck. In addition, he leaves behind close friends and parents of his grandchildren, Michael Mooney of Northvale and Cheryl P. Tindall of Decorah, Iowa.
   A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 at First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck with the Rev. Floyd Churn presiding.
   Friends are invited to join with the family at the Tindall residence, 49 Van Wyck Drive, West Windsor, following the service.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, South Mill Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550.
Claire E. Ruden
Son lives in Plainsboro
   
MONROE — Claire E. Rosof Ruden died Wednesday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 75.
   Born in Bayonne, she resided in North Plainfield and South Brunswick before moving to the Clearbrook Community in Monroe Township 10 years ago.
   She was a learning consultant for the South Brunswick Board of Education for 27 years and was recognized as Classroom Teacher of the Year in 1975.
   She served on the Clearbrook board of directors and was an active member of the Brandeis University National Women’s Chapter and numerous professional and other organizations.
   In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and bird watching.
   Wife of the late Richard E. Ruden, who died in 1999, she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Jack and JoAnne Ruden of Plainsboro and Stuart and Teresa Ruden of Santa Rosa, Calif.; grandson Eric Ruden of San Diego; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was Sunday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Elaine C. Robertson
Co-owned travel agency
   
EAST WINDSOR — Elaine C. Robertson died Aug. 29 at home. She was 65.
   Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Parsippany and Houston before moving to East Windsor in 1986.
   She co-owned the Forrestal Travel Agency in Princeton for many years.
   Daughter of the late Charles E. and Roth O. Terjesen, she is survived by her son, Spencer C. Robertson of East Windsor; daughter Jessica L. Robertson of East Windsor; brother Charles E. Terjesen of Forked River; grandson Samuel; one niece; and three nephews.
   Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10021.
