Leo F. Hart

Mr. Hart, 79, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Feb. 21, 2007, in Haven Hospice at JFK, Edison. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Teske Hart; three sons, Leo of Parlin, Joseph, and his wife, Karen, of Old Bridge and Donald, and his wife, Sue, of Edison; a daughter, Theresa Kren, and her husband, Robert, of the Long Valley section of Washington Township; a brother, Gerald Hart of Doylestown, Pa.; a sister, Joan Hart of Kingston, Pa.; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Entombment was in Cloverleaf Memorial Park Mausoleum, Woodbridge.

Joseph E. Mulkerin Jr.

Mr. Mulkerin, 71, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 21, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Mulkerin; a daughter, Eileen Borruso of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, and a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and John Egan of the Morgan section of Sayreville; a brother, John Mulkerin of Metuchen; a sister, Maryann Merritt of Elizabeth; five stepchildren, Donna Allen of Pennsylvania, Debra McKenzie of Georgia, David Allen of New Jersey, and Eva Ramos and Connie Swingle, both of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

LaVerne N. Cleverley

Mrs. Cleverley, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, died Feb. 21, 2007, at home. Surviving are her husband, William H.; a son and a daughter-in-law, William Kip and Diane Kip; and two grandchildren, Quinn and Kaylee. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Holmdel Cemetery.

Anthony R. Civitello

Anthony R. Civitello, 48, of Jackson, died Feb. 18, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Old Bridge before moving to Jackson 10 years ago. Mr. Civitello worked for Schweitzer-Mauduit, Spotswood for 23 years. He is survived by his wife, Costanza Civitello of Jackson; two daughters, Nancy and Tina Civitello of Jackson; a brother, Louis J. Civitello of Old Bridge; four sisters, Jo Anne Perschilli of Old Bridge, Lisa Cesare of Sayreville, Karen Civitello of Bayville and Susan Civitello of Edison. Services were held at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Joan M. Heeser

Mrs. Heeser, 72, of Hazlet, died March 4, 2007, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Born in Newark, she resided there and Union, prior to relocating to Hazlet in 1963. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Seniors Club, Union Beach. She was predeceased by her husband, John K. Heeser Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Weller of Alaska, and Sharon Meo of Union Beach; a son, John K. Heeser Jr. of Hazlet; two stepdaughters, Joan Simko of Edison, and Linda Pradke of Brick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
