East Windsor McDonalds shut down

EAST WINDSOR — The McDonald’s restaurant on Route 130 near Dutch Neck Road was closed Friday morning after employees and a customer saw a rodent inside, according to the township’s health officer.
Jeff Plunkett said he asked the manager to close the store and he did so after the reports came in before 10 a.m.
Mr. Plunkett said the incident was the result of a rodent infestation outside the building near a sewer line along with some holes in the
building.
He said the restaurant would remain closed until an exterminator can guarantee the infestation is gone and the building is repaired. He said that could take a couple of days.
He added that the restaurant would be cleaned and sanitized before reopening.
