The Monmouth County Library will offer two summertime film series at its Manalapan and Marlboro branches, free of charge and open to the public.
The film series “Summer Heat” will be shown at the Marlboro branch on Wyncrest Road, Marlboro, Thursdays at 2 p.m. The series will feature “A Summer Place” (1959) on July 5; “Gidget” (1959) on July 12; “Where the Boys Are” (1960) on July 19; and “Beach Party” (1963) on July 26.
The film series “Summertime, Summertime” will be presented at the Library’s headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, Tuesdays at 2 p.m. The series will feature “Suddenly, Last Summer” (1959) on July 3; “Summer Stock” (1950) on July 10; “Stolen Summer” (2002) on July 17; “The Sunshine Boys” (1975) on July 24; and “A Place in the Sun” (1951) on July 31.
