County will present free summer concerts

The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Department of Parks and Recreation will sponsor a variety of free summer concerts.

The schedule is as follows:

• The John Lesniak Polka Band – July 22, 3-4:30 p.m., Johnson Park, River Road, Piscataway;

• The Eclectic Sounds of Mike Kuscak and His Guitar – July 22, 6-7:30 p.m., Warren Park, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge;

• The Beacon Hill Jazz Band – July 22, 6:30-8 p.m., Spring Lake Park, Maple Avenue, South Plainfield;

• The Garden State Symphonic Band – July 25, 2-3:30 p.m., at the gazebo next to the lake in Thompson Park, Forsgate Drive, Monroe;

• Bernie Goydish and the Jersey Polka Stars – July 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, O’Leary Boulevard, South Amboy;

• The Joe Monchek Band – July 29, 3-4:30 p.m., Johnson Park;

• Bob Birch and His Polka Express – July 29, 6-7:30 p.m., Warren Park;

• The George Krauss Memorial Band – July 29, 6:30-8 p.m., Spring Lake Park;

• The Joe Monchek Band – Aug. 1, 2-3:30 p.m., Thompson Park;

• Back to the ’50s With Mickey and Ron – Aug. 1, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Raritan Bay Waterfront Park.
