Registration is now under way for the “Timmy’s Tour de Shore” fundraiser to benefit The Timothy Pauxtis Foundation. The tour will take place Oct. 7 in Sandy Hook.
The foundation is named for Middletown resident Timothy Pauxtis, a child who died from a brain tumor in 2006 at age 10. The nonprofit raises funds for pediatric brain tumor research and provides an annual nursing scholarship. Tour participants may choose from a fun ride of two or 10 miles, or a 23-mile route.
