The Buckelew 5K race will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 8 at Thompson Park, Perrineville Road, Monroe. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the cabin near the sledding hill.
Proceeds, after expenses, will benefit the nonprofit Jamesburg Revitalization Coalition Inc. The course, which is in entirely in the park, will challenge runners and walkers of all skill levels.
Fee is $20 in advance, $25 on the day of the race. Participants will receive a Tshirt, beverages and a goodie bag filled with special offers, gifts and discounts from local merchants.
