Monroe Girl Scout Cadette Troop No. 1036 will hold a car wash and bake sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the Monroe Township Recreation Center, 120 Monmouth Road. All donations will be accepted.
The sale will raise money for all Cadette events, including an upcoming trip to Canada. The Girl Scouts, who sponsor many activities for girls, also plan and fund many services for the community.
