Eileen M. Morgan

Mrs. Morgan, 70, of Farmingdale, died Aug. 21, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Elizabeth, she was raised in Belmar and had lived in Brick before moving to Farmingdale in 1967. She was the night manager at Pat’s Diner, Belmar, from 1959 until her retirement in 1990. Mrs. Morgan was a parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale. She also was a member of the Farmingdale Historical Society and served as the secretary for Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale. She was predeceased by a son, Robert W. “Abe” Morgan Jr., in 2005, as well as a brother, Henry “Bill” Gillespie. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Robert W. Morgan Sr.; two sons, Michael “Mike” Morgan of Howell and John “Jay” Morgan of Farmingdale; two daughters, Cindy Jennings of Howell and Karen Morgan of Farmingdale; a daughterin law, Deborah “Debbie” Morgan of Manchester Township; two sisters, Jane L. Zonkle of Brick and Patricia Folk of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, New Jersey Region, P.O.
