Family service, dinner, blood drive at congregation

Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen, will host a family service and Hanukkah dinner Dec. 7. The family service, led by students, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a catered dinner. The cost is $15 per adult and $5 per child ages 2-12; there is no charge for children under age 2. Those who plan to donate must bring their donor card or ID.

An Israeli Hanukkah Fair will be held 9-11 a.m. Dec. 9. The event will feature crafts, hands-on activities, computer games, videos, food and more for children ages 5-16. There will be a Hanukkah Song Fest at 9:40 a.m. The event is free, and all Hebrew school students are expected to attend. Parents and guests are welcome.
