Mrs. Behan, 86, of Keansburg, died Dec. 6, 2007, at home, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Scotland, she immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island, and resided in Royal, Pa., and New York City, prior to relocating to Keansburg 50 years ago. She was employed at Lily Tulip Corporation, Hazlet, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed the beach, and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas in 1985; a daughter, Lisa in 1995; and two sisters, Anne Casey and Margaret Garland. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Eve Behan of Trophy Club, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Dr. David Reskof of Little Silver; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Gloria Groves of New York City, and Alexander and Irene Groves of Philadelphia; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
