Residents named to city boards

The Zoning Board of Adjustment, Memorial Day Committee, Office of Emergency Management and Lambertville Sewerage Authority had vacancies filled.

   LAMBERTVILLE — Mayor David Del Vecchio and members of the City Council recently announced a number of appointments to city boards and committees.
   On the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Georg Hambach and Kate Dunn were appointed as alternates. Both appointments were made to fill a vacancy. Mr. Hambach’s term will expire Dec. 31. Ms. Dunn’s term will expire Dec. 31, 2009.
   Mr. Hambach also was appointed to a one-year term on the Memorial Day Parade Committee. He will replace Aladar Komjathy, who resigned.
   Five appointments were made to the local Office of Emergency Management for a period of one year each. They are residents John Miller and Sally Lelie, United Water representative John Stevens, Lambertville Public School Superintendent Todd Fay and Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad Captain Kevin Snyder.
   The city’s governing body also reappointed two members of the Lambertville Sewerage Authority. Janie MacGregor and Eric Richard each will serve a five-year term.
   The appointments were announced Jan. 22.
